STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

We believe in:
  • The existence and unity of the Godhead as three equal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit who is the Author, Creator and Sustainer of       the universe.
  • The authority of divine inspiration of the Old and new Testaments, a complete and infallible rule of faith of practice.
  • The reality that Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God is truly God and truly Man.
  • The sufficiency of the atonement of Christ for our salvation through faith in Him.
  • The work of the Holy Spirit in justification and sanctification, and justification by Christ alone.
  • The second and glorious appearance of our Lord and Saviour.
  • The resurrection of the dead – for the righteous to everlasting life, the unrighteous to everlasting death.
  • The immersion of believers in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, the true gospel baptism.
  • The celebration of the Lord’s Supper which is a privilege and a delight for all believers.
  • The local church, an expression of the Body of Christ gathered together in one place for the observance of the ordinances, the ministry       of the Word, mutual edification and growth, prayer and discipleship, the giving of care and mutual support, the maintenance and                 spreading of the doctrines of our faith and the sharing of the saving grace of Jesus Christ with all people of all lands.
  • The need for every believer to enter into an observance of a day set aside for the worship of our Creator.
